We remember our first Vizsla, Rex - Yorsla's Mr. Slama, who was born on July4th 1978 and how much
he thaught us in the 12 years he was with us. His picture album was lost - hence, no pictures.
In 1984, we added Ficko and in 1988, Ryzska came to us from Kalypso Vizslas. Ryzka was to be our
foundation bitch, we named our kennel "Od Hornadu" which is a river going through Kosice, Slovakia,
Frank's birth place and a home to many Hungarians and also Vizslas. But life interfered and we never realized
our dream of starting a kennel then. Not until we brought Toldi home in Oct 98. He has changed our life in a
major way. He was full of life and also full of promise, now fullfilled. After Toldi came Corey, who we miss every day.
After we got Corey in Dec 99, we worked with Toldi and Corey in the shows and field and decided to add Steel to
our home as a foundation bitch in April of 2001 and register a kennel name "Toldin". We bred our first litter in 2002
... and the rest, as they say is history. We miss all of them, Rex, Fitzko, Ryszka, Corey
and Toldi/Steel son Altin from our first litter. Throught our tears there is also joy in knowing these dogs
and had them part of our lives.  They always walk with us until we meet again...

These pages are to honor the greatest love of our lives - Senior Vizslas.
"Walk With An Old Dog" -- by Gayl Jokiel

Because you will not be forever,
Hope against time though I may,
I paint your picture in my memory,
Eyes blue with age, muzzle gone gray.
Because you walked with me in Springtime,
Puppy-clumsy, running free.
As you grew, we grew together-
You became a part of me.
Because you shared with me my sorrows,
Not understanding- simply there.
Often spurring me to laughter--
My friend, you know how much I care.
Because the years have slowed your fleetness,
Though your spirit still is strong.
I promise I will take more time now,
So that you can go along.
Because you do not fear the future,
Living only in the now,
I draw strength from your example-
Yet time keeps slipping by somehow.
Because the day will soon be coming
When I will no longer see
You rise to greet me-but in memory
You will always walk with me.
