At 14 years of age, Pacer was still all time top Vizsla in Canada: Three times Best in Show in Canada!

Pacer, who passed away peacefully in June, just days before these pages were completed, was the greatest show career Vizsla in Canadian history. He was in good health to the end, wearing his white socks & white face with dignity he always had in his great show career. Pacers last years were spent with his friend the Doberman female to tell him when to bark, but as his owner said, she failed to tell him when to stop! Typical! Likes to let everyone know that at his age, he is the boss! Pacer also had a company of a rescue, white & fluffy female 10-12 years old that has joined Carmen's household. He had a lots of fun in his retirements years, surrounded by friends, canine and human and lots and lots of love. Pacer, with his record setting show career followed in the foot prints of his aunt Am/Can CH Vizsta's Jolla (sister to Myya) Canada's only 3 x Best In Show female Vizsla. How fortunate for Beryl to be the breeder of both of these fine dogs. We will miss him terribly and will always strive to match Pacer's grace, love of life and his achievements. Pacer - a truly great Vizsla! We dedicate this page to a celebration of his life! |
