Puppies are very active now, they like to explore their
surroundings, run much faster and farther. We put them in
the Xpen in the living room and will move them to the large
dog room for a change of scenery. They don't react to the
pop gun other than they know it is chow time, we vacuumed,
we whistle and sing and of course, our dogs make lots of
noise when visitors come and delivery trucks, so they are
used to LOUD barking. Tula still goes in three times a day,
she let's me lift her over the side of the box, then she
jumps out on her own. I am sure she is afraid to jump on a
puppy, if she did it on her own.
They all go to the other side to poop and pee, although
occasionally they forget, but mostly as soon as they wake up
they are heading for the other side. The Fred the Frog is
getting a lot of play, so does the paper box and the toys.
They retrieve the toys, carry them around and generally
behave like a Vizsla should. They are all lovely and their
tails are straight and beautiful, they are holding them up
almost all the time.
They had plenty of visitors, future Kyra/Regis puppy
owners stopped by, they are just so loved by all of our
dogs, Hunor tried to occupy them, Kyra was bringing them
toys and the puppies got lots of cuddles and hugs and got to
be handled. Thank you Billie and Mike! On Saturday, Greg and
Melissa came over from Essex, ON, they are getting a boy
from this litter and again, pups got lots of hugs and
attention and so did Hunnie. We hope Greg and Melissa made
it OK to the Neil Young concert at the Fox.
