Enjoy the
slide show. I hope it can take place of imbedding
them on the page. I will be posting new articles for
new owners on the left side bar, please check there
for "How to prepare for Toldin puppy" and some links
to recommended books. I will also put some articles
there on housetraining, crate training, importance
of socialization and others.
They are sure growing fast. Lots of them are now
over a pound! They had their tails and dew claws
done on Day 2, which was Monday, all took it well and
it was over in a jiffy. I mean the actual crop of
the tail was fast, but the preparation was not.
Nancy measured and measured and measured, and
calculated, before she was satisfied that the length
was right. It was so good to see how much care she
took before she decided to crop. They will have all
beautiful tails thanks to our awesome vet, our
friend Nancy. They didn't have to go to the hospital
to have this done we didn't have to put Tula through
separation by riding in the car with them in the
crate, but not able to get to them and to have a
stranger who doesn't know much about Vizsla tails do
them.
They are all eating and moving around the box a lot,
some of them are trying to wobble around on their
legs already! Imagine 2 days old and they do not
want her to pick them up in her mouth and carry
them, they rather start walking/crawling to where
Tula wants them. Amazing! She has redecorated
the box, the Scooby Doo blanket is definitely out
(but don't laugh, because you are getting a piece of
it home with you when the time comes! LOL) Even the
fake fur got to be outside this morning. So, carpet
it is for now. Here are updated weights for Day 4
