Phoenix's Show:

Phoenix made his Canadian show debut in the Woodstock show, the Canadian Nationals weekend. He won the Vizsla Canada Specialty Sweeps, under breeder/judge Tony Smid and went on to win Reserve Winners Dog in the Specialty under judge James Reynolds. He followed in the afternoon with Winners Dog in a large entry at Oxford County K.C. show. He finished his championship by WD on Saturday and then winning Best of Winners at The Vizsla Society of Ontario Booster in November.

Phoenix is true son of Toldi and Pele, he has good front, great shoulder angulation and beautiful head of a Vizsla male. Like his brothers from all of Toldi/Pele litters, he is very handsome, moderate size at 23 1/2" & 58 lbs. shows good bone. He is balanced and square, and is although he is still adolescent at 20 months, he is starting to show nice muscles on front and well developed rear, his movement is effortless, with great front extension. His head is beautiful, male head with brown eyes and alert look with proper ear set.  He has good top line and proper tail set. He has great temperament, easy going and sweet.  His entry into the field was as good as into the show. He is eager hunter with beautiful point, easy to train and his field abilities became apparent when he finished his Junior Hunter with perfect score and great comments by the judges. Like his siblings from Toldi&Pele's four litters, he is a fine example of a male Vizsla. He is very promising male and we are looking forward to his future successes in show and field.

Phoenix's Field:

Phoenix is great hunter, he trains with Dan almost every day in nearby Highland grounds. Phoenix has finished his Junior Hunter title (JH) with great, high scoring  runs and his last score was perfect run- all 10's! He amazes judges and us with his range, hunting intensity, nose and pointing style. He is a natural retriever with a soft mouth. Phoenix has just started his field carrier and it may take him to the US field trials and Canadian field dog titles. We are looking forward watching him progress to a good gun dog.

only 7 weeks of age.
