Nelsons Show
pictures:
Nelson took Canadian
show circuit by storm, at his first show weekend in Woodstock,
Ontario he finished his Canadian Championship in 1 1/2 days!
This was well attended show weekend, because of Canadian
Nationals and VSO Specialty, the entry was large and
competition included top Vizslas from Canada and US. He
was BOW on Friday, WD at Ontario Pointing in the evening and
he finished with BOB over all specials on Saturday morning,
which was Vizsla Canada Booster. He was in the final cut as
a brand new Special at VSO Specialty on Saturday evening. Not a
bad showing for this young dog in his first Canadian show. In US
he finished his Am CH in Michigan, under judge Dr. Spritzer, the
same judge that gave 5 point Major to his sire Toldi 8 years ago
at the Michigan Specialty. Nelson was trained for his show
career by Frank Lacko, his co-owner ... the "dog whisperer" to
those who know him.
Nelson is moderate, 23
1/2" tall Vizsla, 56 lbs., according to the standard, both
elegant and powerful. He is balanced and square, with powerful
muscles on front and rear that make his movement effortless,
with great front extension. His head is beautiful, male head
with brown eyes and proper ear set. He has good top line
and proper tail set. He has great temperament, easy going and
sweet, but he knows his mind. He is easy to train and his
field abilities became apparent when we took him to the field
put him on birds for the first time and saw his excellent range,
intensity and beautiful point. Like his siblings from
Toldi&Pele's four litters, he is a fine example of a male
Vizsla.
