Thank you to Pat and John Boelte for allowing us to use their Brant to sire Silken's litter and allowing us to repeat this awesome pedigree combination next year. Brant is in our Corey's pedigree and in our own past. We are going back to memories of some great Vizslas. From our first dog Rex in 1978 to present, we have known some great ones and Brant is one of them. We are looking forward to see these two girls continue the Brant legacy at Toldin Vizslas.

We expect to finish her US CH in 2005. Silken is very well put together and has great front assembly and true tracking movement. She is very sweet and very biddable, quick to learn. She has started on her agility and obedience. She is very good at field work.. Always owner-handled, Brant attained distinction as the 1983 and 1984 #1 Vizsla and #2 in 1985 and 1986, winning 2 BIS, 6 BISS, 12 Groups, 55 Group Placements, 189 BOB’s. He was a Top Producer for 7 years, 1985 Westminster BOB, and 1988 National Specialty #1 Stud Dog and Award of Merit winner.  Brant’s impact on the breed is significant having 48 get earning 70 titles and 121 grandget earning 174 titles. Brant’s descendants achieved titles from CH to OTCH, MH, MX, TD, VC, ROM, and HOF - and were top winners at National and Regional Specialties. He and one of his sons are the 2004 Hall of Fame inductees. He is also the sire of the 1996 and 1989 Top Producing Dams; grandsire of the 1991 National Specialty High-in-Trial, 1998 Westminster BOB, and 2003 Top Producing Sire; and great-grandsire of the Top Producing Sire in Australia. Brant is remembered by those who knew him for his affectionate and clownish personality.
