This Monday, Feb 14th - Getting to know you....

Pictures from Day 9 - Explore My World! We have started to bring the puppies out of the whelp box to expose them to different stimuli. They get to go into a pie tin and onto a damp towel to experience different surfaces, we let them smell orange peel, banana, apple, nail polish, cat hair, feather and see how they react. They were all so good at this today. We also tickle their paws and put them in different positions to get them used to being handled by people.  We also play them Vivaldi, Bocelli and some good old C & W music. They may look like they are sleeping, because their eyes are not open yet. They should open by Friday. Then they can see the world for the first time with their eyes, but I am sure they know a lot about their surroundings now with their other senses. Although limited, they know smells, mom, vibrations, taste... MILK! :-)
	Steel was supervising all that socializing, watching us like a hawk, but looking like she was having fun with it.
Some shut eye for the puppies after all that work out!
