Piroska - Toldin pride bunch

Hilarie says that the puppies eyes are open now (June 11) and they peek all over. They are still very independent and like to wonder around the whelp box. Fila has a lots of milk and they are all such guzzlers! Hilarie and Barrie say that every time they look at them, they are getting bigger and fatter. They all have wonderful heads, Hilarie reports. They are showing a wonderful spirit and all love to go tunneling in the blankets and roll up like a "pigs in the blanket".  They get all sort of socialization and are handled many times a day. Hilarie left her camera in the garden and watered it! So, we have to wait till it dries out. I am sure we will have pictures soon. 

Story - Day 21 (June 18)

Puppies were moved to the proper puppy pen yesterday (June 17) and they were quite surprised at the spacious surroundings! All settled down fine and Fila is quite content with her brood. They sure have grown!  Hilarie writes that all puppies tend to sleep in folds of bedding and make a point of getting under the covers! (This is Toldi's favorite thing to do, - wrap himself in a blanket and go to sleep). There is another trait puppies have inherited from Toldi, especially Black & Green Boys and White Girl - they sleep on their back exposed. We have lots of pictures to prove Toldi's favorite sleeping position is the same! Which traits get inherited? Some of them are starting to show already.
