'Corey My
Heart'
On June
15 (his 3rd birthday) Corey received his FDJ title with 3 straight passes
and the final test with HQS of 96 tied with Steel for the top score that
day. Way to go Corey!
He pointed birds in high grass that no one even knew were there - dogs or
humans! :) But Corey didn't miss any that day and pointed and hunted
almost to perfection.
On
January 20, 2001 Corey becomes Canadian Champion
Corey My Heart' Saves
Niky the cat on New
Year's Day
This
is our Fat Cat Niky.
He has already spent one of his nine lives at New Year's Day, January
1, 2000, when he got tangled into the telephone power cord in the
kitchen, dragged it (including the heavy power supply) into the living
room and proceeded to tangle himself more when in panic he run under
the Christmas tree in the living room. He continued to struggle and
tighten the noose of the thin wire around his neck with several
Christmas light wires as well. Corey woke us up barking, standing on
the bed and proceeded to go nuts until Frank got up and went after him
downstairs where he was standing in front of the Christmas tree
barking frantically. Frank saw Niky literally hanging on the wires and
not having time to go and get scissors, broke the wires with his hands
(good thing he works out!) and saved Niky's life. Needless to say, Corey
is our hero on the first day of the New
Millennium! No matter how many ribbons, titles, rosettes
and kudos he wins in the future - this one will be number one in our
hearts!
