Isla -Toldin's Seeing Is Believing

winning from classes for her first two majors towards her Canadian Championship (from  Peter Machen and the breeder judge Carmen Haller on Sunday)

for her first Fly Ball Tournament where she was one of the fastest dogs, helped her team win the 1st place in the
Tournament with very fast and flawless runs and on her brand new titles from NFBA - FD (Flyball Dog) and FDX (Flyball Dog Excellent)
Groove is also starring in the Super Dog Show and they will be performing in Brandon, Manitoba next. Please say hello to our Groove, if you happen to be at the Super Dog Show this year, they perform all across North America!

You can see video of the Fly ball competition with Groove when you click this link. She is the third dog running on the course closest to the camera. Not very clear video, not very long, but very, very exciting! She sure can fly!

The judge said later that upon Tazs entering the ring, she said  "WOW!"

Phoenix finished his Canadian Championship in record time. He got his first points in Woodstock,
this was his second show in Georgina K.C. on the weekend. Winners Dog on Saturday,  Best of Winners on Sunday at the VSO Booster did it!  All owner handled by Diane Flattery. Phoenix is owned by Diane and Dan and by Frank and Martha. He has been bred by Barrie and Hilarie Brinkworth and Frank and Martha Lacko.

This weekend was ZiZi's first point, after getting Reserves at previous shows and we know it is not the last, she is very beautifully moving dog (many compliments from the judges and spectators). She is only 8 months old. This picture was taken in the field after the show. The show picture is coming! ZiZi is owned and handled in the shows by Greg Dutson and his wife Dennise. ZiZi was bred by and is co-owned by Frank and Martha.

won Reserve Best Puppy in Show Sunday
in Poznan, Poland handled by her owner Zuzana Sedlakova, Czech Republic
Toldina is not only proving herself in the field but in the show!

Toldina has already retrieved hare, duck and pheasant to hand.
Now she is charming judges in the show ring also! (show picture is coming up). She is Kyra and Regis puppy and she is not yet 8 months old.

has finished his Junior Hunter
with a score of all 10s!! Judges said they have never seen a performance
 like his at the junior level. Wow, what potential here. Another versatile
Vizsla, a show dog that can really hunt!

Phoenix is handled in the field by his owners Dan & Diane Flattery. He is very promising young male, he is also show pointed in Canada and will have his debut in shows in US soon.

Nelson finished his US Championship by going BOW at the Monroe K.C. show in the entry of 19 Vizslas under judge Dr. Donald Spritzer.
(In August 1999, Dr. Spritzer awarded Toldi, Nelson's dad his first 5 point Major from Specialty at the Vizsla Club of Michigan Specialty, so today's US Championship win was very special for us) Both dogs were handled by breeder/co-owners. Toldi by Francois Bernier, his breeder and co-owner and Nelson by Frank.

Keeper did some victory laps on his 2nd test retrieve so was DQ'd but came back on his 3rd & 4th with scores of 97 & 95 and 10 imaginary bonus points for "goofiness" - the judge loved his exuberance and joie de vivre.

Keeper is owned by Maxine Moinier with Barrie and Hilarie.

Toldi and Frank did their Canine Good Neighbor title this past weekend
in Kinsville. Because of his past achievements this should qualify Toldi
for the Grand Champion title, a new title by the CKC for dogs that achieved
lot in the show and also have working titles.

Has won Reserve Winners Bitch at 2 Specilties, this last one at the
TEVCO Specialty. The Purple & Gold (and the tri-color-:) is not far behind!

Zizi shows great promise at 6 1/2 months free stacking on the dime, but still a bit lively in the show ring. :) She is owned by Greg and Dennise Dutson and lives in Oregon. ZiZi is being handled by her owner Greg in the shows. Way to go Greg and ZiZi!

(Toldi x Pele puppy, Born April 1, 2005)

Nelson won Winners Dog at the Ontario Pointing Dog Club Specialty on Friday evening from Mr. John Ross, Ontario.

Nelson has both majors in US shows and we are sure he will get his US Championship before the year's end.

Nelson was trained and exclusively handled by his co-owner, Frank Lacko.

This win was another 5 points and Nelson became the Champion in only 1 1/2 days in Woodstock. Nelson went on to compete as a Special for the rest of the weekend. In the VSO Specialty he got into a final cut for the breed from Mrs. C. Hubbell.

Nelson is owned by Bonnie King, co-owned by Barrie and Hilarie Brinkworth and Frank and  Martha Lacko.

Phoenix was handled by his owner Diane Flattery.

At the picture taking, his breeder and co-owner Martha Lacko (me) is beaming with happiness.

Phoenix is just a puppy, but his gait and movement is faultless. He single tracks and extends and he seems to be floating.

Phoenix was again handled by his owner Diane.
Dan, the other half of the team was the official photographer so is not in this picture.

Phoenix has been working in he field and is going for his Junior Hunter this fall. He is has a great nose and wonderful style on point.

His Breeders, Barrie & Hilarie Brinkworth and Frank and Martha Lacko are so very proud of Phoenix and Diane and Dan.

Catharine comes every year to Canada to visit with us and this year she is leaving with a Trophy. Congratulations Catharine and Maia. Maia was handled in the show by a Junior Handler.

Maia has been training in the field and is poised to do her JH tests. She has run in the Field Trials already as a Puppy and will continue with that as well this fall.

Maia loves to hunt. She is also very inquisitive and intelligent Vizsla
